Hi there,
I believe in a world where everyone embraces their inner entrepreneur to unlock a higher level of our fullest potential. I’m blessed to say I have successfully unlocked my inner entrepreneur and it has provided me with a mindset of taking action to gain positive results in all aspects of life. Simply put, I believe when you unlock your inner entrepreneur, you not only think about doing something, you take action and go do it. The doing piece is what elevates you and me into the 1%.
My background is that I grew up in an entrepreneurial family, having learned real-world business wisdom through my dad and grandfather and their automotive repair business, Michael’s British, American & Foreign Auto Repair. Summers when I wasn’t in school, I was at the shop learning sales, marketing, human resources, you name it, I got a taste of the ins and outs of running a business.
Then, while going to UCF for my MBA, I was honored with the opportunity to join the Florida High Tech Corridor Council and lead their Florida Virtual Entrepreneur Center platform. During my time with The Corridor and FLVEC, we grew the platform to serve entrepreneurs in all 67 counties across Florida with tools like a resources directory and profiles of CEOs. Dozens of cities, counties and economic development agencies were recruited to financially support the operating budget of the platform.
Today, I’m focused on four passions...my family; working with organizations to support them in creating a culture and community of entrepreneurial-minded people; providing car enthusiasts with the very best examples through my dealership Coastal Auto Connection, and leading my family’s longstanding business (Michael’s British, American & Foreign Auto Repair) alongside my dad and 2 brothers through it’s third-generation of ownership and beyond.
One thing I’ve found time and time again in my journey being an entrepreneur is that making connections with other entrepreneurs is what helps each of us level up. I have been committed to the important work of entrepreneur development and economic development for more than a decade. I have led initiatives and projects that have fostered collaborations and resources for entrepreneurs to build community and grow their ventures. Many of these projects have elevated local companies, helped attract and retain talent, assisted job creation efforts and created business opportunities throughout the state of Florida and beyond.

Startup Activity
Activate the entrepreneur within your organization through a fun educational activity. Your employees will learn about and create a minimum viable product and have an opportunity to pitch. This activity also works well with students in higher education or K-12.
